Would YOU Date This Man?
Part of the rules of person-hood include supporting your friends. So our friend, Miss E, has put herself out there into the world of online dating. She’s been at this some time and has her fair share of stories–good, bad, and ungodly ugly. Recently, she sent this email out to her lady-friends (myself included):
From: Miss E
To: Awesome Lady-Friends
Subject: Are You Kidding Me?
So, I’ve been online dating for while, probably longer than I’ll admit. But, my excuse is that it’s on and off. This is by far the worst online photo I’ve EVER seen, and I’ve seen a fuck ton.
I had to share.
Love Miss E
Which started a discussion between the BF and myself. I argue that this fine upstanding gentleman might have a wonderful sense of humor at the very most, and at the very least might provide Miss E with a few funny stories. The BF counters, siding with Miss E, that this guy might also be the biggest freakshow out there and she’s right to run screaming from the hills.
What say YOU internet? Would you date this man?

I would want to date that man (just for the stories, I swear) but I think I would be too scared to follow through because he might be the biggest freak show on the planet. Eek!

I never said you had to give him your real name. Or any name! “Shh, baby, it’s better if there are some things you don’t know about me. Like my name or where I live or any other details that could lead you to me.”

I would so date that guy. At least once. And if he showed up looking like that, I’d run like the wind, all the while being impressed that he could walk on his hands so well.
